Tomeka Roberts, M.D., P.C. Obstetrics & Gynecology
Reviewed by Wendy W.
I am so glad I transferred my care to Dr. Roberts! I moved from a very large OB/GYN practice that seemed overly busy to address my concerns. Today was my second visit with Dr. Roberts. I have to admit, I felt the difference as soon as I walked into her office. The staff is very warm, welcoming, helpful and friendly. I didn't wait any longer than 15 minutes after my appointment time to see Dr. Roberts on both occasions. I have found Dr. Roberts to be very personable, compassionate and knowledgeable. She calmed my worries about my condition and I left the office with a new plan today that was well explained. I feel like I've finally found the OB/GYN for me!! Thanks, Dr. Roberts!!Read More...

Dr. Roberts also enjoys providing education to women and girls about making healthy decisions for their bodies. In 2014, Dr. Roberts developed a program called "Not On Our Watch" (NOOW)
. NOOW was designed to provide an avenue to educate young women, between the ages of 10-17 years, on establishing healthy behaviors with their bodies in a fun and safe environment. Additionally, the program is designed to provide education on positive health practices as they relate to wellness and sexually transmitted infections (STI) prevention.
The programs include fun educational games as well as inspirational speakers talking about how to achieve healthy hygiene. Trained coaches and volunteers answer questions and address myths and facts about sensitive topics. Dr. Roberts’ mission for NOOW is to educate and change unhealthy behaviors. This is her chance to give back to the community and give our female youth life-changing education from trained community physicians and experts.
In addition to "Not On Our Watch" Dr. Roberts has utilized her degree in Material Science and Engineering, and developed an innovative feminine wash that is unique to the current market place. Dr. Roberts has developed a more effective feminine wash formulation that has revolutionized feminine hygiene care by developing a product safe for all women and gentle enough for adolescents. Dr. Roberts states, "There was a void in the market for an effective feminine product that does not burn or irritate. Many of my patients have asked me for my recommendation and I finally have something to offer that will allow women to feel clean and fresh." Dr. Roberts Clinical Feminine Wash
is currently available for purchase directly from her practice at Brookwood Medical Women's Center.
